Health Care Reform

My mission is to inform colleague Democrats, as well as others about the excellence of the Affordable Care Act, thus gaining their enthusiastic commitment to and advocacy for the ACA. I also, of course, have a deep commitment to the political health and welfare of the O.C. Democratic Party and all of its' members, both within the 73rd and the county as a whole.
The misinformation and negativity about the ACA is rampant and scurilous beginning with the election of President Obama - i.e. before the ACA was even in existence. In fact, the ACA is very, very good health care reform legislation. It is landmark, cost efficient, intelligent, generous -- in short exactly what is needed to provide health care that is depedable and high quality to an additional 32 Million people in our nation. In addition greatly expanded and high quality safety net programs, offered within the public health framework will provide medical homes to an additional 20 Million persons; most of whom will be from the ranks of the uninsured. By the time the ACA is fully implemented and inevitable bugs are smoothed out, we will finally have virtual universal health care! As the years go by it will get even better, and more responsive to our highest values as Democrats. I am passionate about saving and fully implementing the ACA! I diligently keep up on a day-to-day basis with all the latelst political happenings with the ACA, and carefully document their truthfulness and correctness - or not. I have done dozens of programs around Orange County on the ACA. I also have done, and plan to continue to make phone calls, donate money, and do precinct walking for the President, state candidates, and local candidates. I have served on committees for the DPOC and am on the County Executive Committee. I would like to be reelected and thank you in advance for your support.
