Candidate for
Member, Republican Party County Central Committee; County of Orange; State Assembly District 73

I am Norm Dickinson, a Retired Naval Officer and a Retired Southern California Edison Construction Superintendent at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. My wife, Mary Ann, and I have lived in San Clemente for 35 years where we raised our twin daughters, Amy and Bonny.

I have been an incumbent in the Orange County Republican Party Central Committee, 73 Assembly District for 4 terms.

During that time I have and continue to serve the Orange County Republican Party as the San Clemente City Chairman and the 73rd Assembly District Chairman the for "Get Out The Vote" by recruiting, training, organizing Precinct Captains and other volunteers. I have also served on the Central Committee's Ethic Committee and now serve on the Precinct Operation Committee. I am the Chairman of the Ad Hoc Bylaws Committee and we have completed a major updating of the OCGOP Bylaws.

I have prepared this year OCGOP Precinct Captains Handbook and supporting "How To" Guidelines and the OCGOP Strategic Plan for Precinct Operations. I have been recognized as the Central Committee Volunteer of the Month twice; Volunteer of the Year in 2003 and the Chairman's Award in 2011.

I am a member of the South Orange County California Republican Assemble, Associate Member of the San Clemente Area Republican Women Federated since 2003, member of the NRA, a parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

I am asking you for your vote in this June 5th Primary Election for Republican Central Committee and I will be honored to have your vote.
