(Not so) Smart Meters/Smart GridBy Frank LambertCandidate for Member, Green Party County Council; County of Monterey | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Scientific and Medical Information on EMF Pollution/DamageI have heard enough and read plenty of information on studies conducted by credible and bona fide scientists, doctors, and engineers on the health and safety issues in "wireless" technology and electro-magnetic frequencies and radiation damage from Smart Meters and cell phones and the ubiquitous towers for cell phones, etc, and to use such devices cautiously, as I write this on the computer! My family and I "opted-out" to keep our analog meter and will challenge the PG&E "opt-out fee in a class-action. Western Europe, particularly in Scandinavia, are way ahead of us in the damaging effects of EMF pollution and have enacted strict laws, especially in protecting children from this type of radiation. New technology is not always better than the existing one. No on Smart Meters! |
