1. What services do you believe should be considered basic and essential for the Village?
1. Public Safety - Keep people and property safe, including: police, fire & EMT2. Public Works - keep streets and public land cared for.
3. Administration - operate the Village effectively and efficiently.
2. How would you balance the Village Budget?
1. Focus on a balanced budget - live within Village means2. Totally support renewal of the Village of North Bend Operating Levy which is vital to services such as: police & fire protection and communication, snow removal, lighting, insurance and street engineering among others, with NO NEW TAXES.
3. Conduct cost/benefit analysis for major expenditures.
4. Prioritize spending based on cost/benefit analysis.
3. What actions will you take to support clean air?
I will support "Go Green" initiatives that make a difference. I will support continuation of Village participation in environmental initiatives including the hazardous waste drop-off program and the INEOS - Public Advisory Group information sharing forum. I will monitor findings and recommendations of the EPA and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources as they pertain to companies that operate within the Village of North Bend and neighboring communities.
