Full Biography for William "Bill" Zoslocki
Candidate for |

|
BILL ZOSLOCKI brings a business perspective to the office of Mayor. Bill understands that we must have new wealth-producing jobs, and lots of them. When more people are working in the private sector, many positive changes will follow. More people can afford to purchase all those vacant subprime homes, slowly bringing home values back. More money is available to support basic government services. More law enforcement funding strengthens us in the fight against gangs, drugs and violent crime. BILL ZOSLOCKI knows that we must protect our most precious resource + our young people. We must provide living wage employment here at home so they don't have to leave Modesto and their families in order to make a living. Bill knows that we have to rid Modesto of the barriers to business so that Modesto becomes truly welcoming to new business. BILL ZOSLOCKI understands that lack of vision in the past has led to higher utility rates and other financial blunders in local government. The rapid rise in housing values in past years resulted in government "bubble budgeting" and short-sighted decisions at City Hall. This has cost us needless money. Bill foresaw the housing downturn, and in 2004 took steps to protect his family, his investments and his business. There was no such vision and foresight at City Hall + and we have all paid the price for that lack of judgment. BILL ZOSLOCKI is committed to making Modesto into what it should be. Water, Wealth, Contentment, Health. A venerable slogan, and one that can define our lives once again! |
