Biographical Highlights
  • Occupation: Businessman/Community Leader
  • Jayme Wilson graduated from Long Beach State with a degree in Political Science & Criminology then went on to receive a Masters in Public Administrat
  • specializing in Judicial Administration, after graduating passed the CA Bar Exam and worked for LA County as an Attorney in Court Planning Division
  • 1979, Jayme started his lifelong community involvement in the 15th District, purchased Catalina 38 sailboat & became a live-aboard in Cabrillo marina
  • Three years later, Jayme and his brother Marcus formed SPIRIT CRUISES and began construction of their 90-foot Staysil Schooner SPIRIT in San Pedro.
  • The family business now includes the Ports O'Call Restaurant and the Ports O'Call MarketPlace in San Pedro.
  • Jayme's success has resulted in the creation of thousands of jobs over the past 30 yrs.
Top Priorities if Elected
  • I will never run for another public office. My sole commitment is to serve the people of the 15th Council District.
  • I wont take a dime of public money for my campaign.Jayme explains:"I rather use that fund to focus on improving my community"
  • tax payer's money should be spent on sidewalk repairs, police officers, more paramedics and keeping libraries open longer for our children.­
