For over 35 years my wife, Nancy, and I have lived in Lomita. Our six children are aged, 36 to 18, with three being boys and three being girls. All but one currently calls Lomita home. I graduated from Narbonne High back in February of 1967. As a member of the Los Angeles County Fire Department I worked at Station 6 on Narbonne Avenue from 1976 to 1978 as a Firefighter Paramedic. As you can see I have strong ties to this great city and I am seeking your vote and support. Together we can continue enjoying this unique City we call home.

Goals:

  • Maintain Lomita as a safe place to live and raise our children.

  • Preserve low density housing.

  • Support critical services such as Sheriff, Fire & Public Works.

  • Work to improve our infrastructure: roads and water systems.

  • Work to keep the city financially sound

  • Support key programs for seniors, families and youth.

  • Sustain and improve our quality of life here in the city

Experience:

  • 31 years of public service with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

  • Managing multimillion dollar Fire Stations including: Crews, Apparatus, Budgets, Fire Prevention, Training, Fire Suppression and Rescue Operations.

  • Member of the Lomita Planning Commission.

  • Board of Directors and CFO of a Private School - South Bay Faith Academy.

  • Presently I continue to serve the families of the Los Angeles County Fire Department as a Fire Chaplain.
