Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Pomona Unified School District

I am proud to have served as your School Board Member over the last two years. I have worked diligently for our community to open the doors to a cooperative and accessible school district. The district has made significant gains during my term, and I wish to continue representing you on the Pomona Unified School District Board of Education.

I'm very proud of the fact that I return your emails and telephone calls in a timely manner, and that I attend many community events. I visit our schools constantly to ensure that they have the support that they need from the School Board. I'm dedicated to serving you and all of our community.

My Education:

A member of the Board of Education should be well educated, and I take pride in my educational attainment right here in our own community.

I attended Pomona Unified School District schools for my K-12 education. I graduated from Decker Elementary, Lorbeer Middle School and Diamond Ranch High School. I know what the district needs from a student's perspective.

-Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in the Biological Sciences from Cal Poly Pomona

I didn't go very far for my college education. I attended Cal Poly Pomona for BOTH my Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Biotechnology with a Minor in Chemistry for my Undergraduate Degree, and I have a Master's of Science in the Biological Sciences for my Graduate Degree. I studied and performed advanced research in the molecular biology of vitamin metabolism.

I feel that my proven experience and dedication to our community and the Pomona Unified School District has given me the knowledge and passion to continue representing you.
