As it appears on the Voter's Guide/InformationSTATEMENT OF JANET RHEE CANDIDATE FOR TEMPLE CITY SCHOOL BOARD Age: 48 Occupation: Incumbent/Retired VP Commercial Lender/Homemaker As a parent of two children who have matriculated through Longden Elementary, Oak Middle and TCHS, I ask for your support for my re-election. As a resident of this city since 1977, I love our schools and our close knit community. During the past four years TCUSD has experienced funding cuts of over $6 million resulting in many difficult board decisions. Amidst these tumultuous times, our community has pulled together in support of our children. I'm proud that we've continued to improve the quality of education while maintaining financial solvency. As a mother and a `retired' banker, I will continue to promote academic excellence while being fiscally prudent.
