Candidate for
Governing Board Member; West Covina Unified School District

I have lived in West Covina and attended West Covina Unified Schools since 1965. As a mother of 3 boys I became active in volunteering and remain active in the school district. I have been a PTA board member for over 10 years and have been involved in school site councils. We have some truly amazing people at our school sites, people who have a genuine care and concern for our students, and I enjoy working with these people.

I am also a very active volunteer with the Soldier's Angels organization and have been for 9 years. I enjoy sending letters and baked goods to our men and women who work so very hard at what they do.

I feel by volunteering you are touching someone's life in a positive way and to me there is no feeling more rewarding.
