Hercules faces a sever financial future if solutions are not found now.
Hercules has serious financial issues. The lack of oversight by members of the City Council, combined with financial mismanagement that lead to no bid sweetheart deals for, family and friends has cost Hercules its good credit rating and news coverage comparing it with Bell California. All this has created a loss of confidence in our elected and appointed leaders. I have never been a politician but I know how local governments are designed to work and have spent years working to find financial solutions in crisis situations for public agencies that I have worked for. I have built a reputation for trust and integrity in my field. I am running for City Council because I know that I can help provide solutions to our issues.
