Candidate for
Board Member; Cardiff Elementary School District

As an active community leader in Cardiff and a parent of two children enrolled in the district, I am a passionate advocate for educational excellence for Cardiff children.

I have served for four years as President of the Cardiff Schools Education Association (SEA) formerly Cardiff Education Foundation (CEF) + which is the parent, staff and community support organization for the Cardiff School District. I have extensive experience and knowledge of the workings of the school district, particularly in budgetary matters. During my four year Presidency, our organizations have raised over one million dollars for the school.

I hold a master's and bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I have worked in the software industry for thirteen years and was a founding member of a local software company. I am currently a local small business owner in Cardiff.

As a Cardiff resident for thirteen years, I am committed to a strong and successful Cardiff community. I believe that a strong public school is essential to achieving this goal.
