Mark strongly supports Proposition "G" as a protection against inflated pensions. Pension reform for all city employees is a priority.

Mark believes in the need for balancing the economic health, social and cultural enrichment, and environmental sensitivity of our community. This has been demonstrated by the city's priorities of exemplary police and fire services, top-notch libraries, wonderful parks and recreation opportunities, development of reclaimed and desalinated water supplies, and outstanding City services, all while keeping the service fees among the lowest in the county.

Carlsbad's leadership continues to maintain a city that is the envy of others. Surveys continue to show a confidence and satisfaction rate of over 90%.
