Accomplishments So Far- With More to Come!

I have worked hard for you in the last few months. I will continue to do so. Please review the accomplishments I was able to bring to the City in such a short time!

• Helped bring Twenty-three Million Dollars to Oceanside through a new contract with Waste Management; the contract freezes rate hikes, provide greater service and has revenue sharing.

• With hard work started pension reform after years of the taxpayer covering the entire cost.

• Funded ongoing operation of after-school Resource Center in an at-risk neighborhood.

• Restored full service to an Oceanside fire station addressing community safety needs; previously this station was partially out of service with no fire truck.

• Directed revitalization of Mission Avenue; worked with businesses to benefit residents, tourists and our local economy while creating new jobs without any new debt.

• Worked to more than double the capacity of Oceanside's existing desalination plant; the goal is to reach 50-60% of Oceanside's water needs in the next few years.

• Supported posting of Council and City worker salaries on City website: http://www.ci.oceanside.ca.us
