Supreme Court Ruling and market conditions tempting
A couple of years ago the US Supreme Court ruled that a City could eminent domain any property in it's City limits if it was for the"greater good of the Community". That coupled with the rock bottom prices of property in our area has produced a powerful temptation for the City to acquire property now for sale to Corporations later for profit. As your Councilman, I will stand opposed to such dealings. Eminent Domain should never be used to force a person out of their house or place of worship just to make a profit.
