Vista is known as the most business Unfriendly City in San Diego County. Contactors have given up trying to build here and new businesses have gone to our sister Cities of Oceanside and San Marcos due to problems with red tape and lengthy permit processes.
As your new Councilman, I will strive to reverse this and attract jobs by reducing the massive red tape that now exists at City Hall, Lower permit fees that are among the highest in the County and expedite permits. In doing this, the City will have more revenue for necessary services from the new businesses that locate here, families will have more spendable income and the lifestyle of our citizens will improve.
