Political Philosophy for S. Monique Limón
Candidate for |
Over the past eight years I have worked in our community to improve the quality of education for our students. My commitment to our schools and students is the reason I have decided to run for the Santa Barbara School District Board of Trustees this November. As a former student of our public schools, I know first-hand our schools are good schools but we must work to make them better. This is a particularly challenging time in our school district given the budget cuts we have faced. Despite these challenges, this is also a time our schools and community have come together to support student learning.
My experience shows a track record of providing effective, energetic and positive leadership within schools and our greater Santa Barbara community. |
