Why did I decide to run for City Council?

Past events have created a dark cloud over the City of San Jacinto. I am running for the San Jacinto City Council because I want to bring integrity and accountability back to City Hall. Like many of you I believe that the City Council is heading in the wrong direction. We came together as neighbors to bring about change at the City Couccil. Many of us volunteered our time to collect signatures to recall current members on the City Council. Together, we the citizens of San Jacinto succeeded in getting more than the required amount of signatures to get the recall on the ballot. Now it is up to us-- the voters--to vote yes for the recall and elect James D. Pangrazzi, who will always do what is best for the citizens of San Jacinto.

My Top Priorities:

1. Keep our neighborhoods safe
2. Bring good jobs here now!!!
3. Improve our roads and make them safer
4. Fund City positions such as Construction Inspector and create an Engineering Department for better oversight with construction projects currently going on in the city. Bringing these services into the City will cost less and create a more efficient streamline process. Contracting out these services is not the answer.

Keep our schools and neighborhoods safe

I know that kids can't learn and businesses can't expand in neighborhoods where they don't feel safe. As your voice on the San Jacinto City Council, I will always make sure that the safety of our families is never compromised."

Bring good jobs here now!

I will make San Jacinto a more business friendly community by making it easier for businesses to locate here. I will encourage all businesses to hire local residents who are in need of good paying jobs.

Improve our roads and make our roads safer

I will install more traffic lights and stop signs. Speed surveys show especially around schools, that drivers are driving too fast and putting our children and elderly at risk.

The greatest challenges facing the City of San Jacinto:

1. Improving the image of our city so businesses will want to relocate here in San Jacinto
2. Increasing home ownership and reducing the number of foreclosed homes
3. Adding more police and avoiding any cuts to public safety. We must keep our community safe.
4. With declining revenues the city must focus on doing more with less. We must look for more efficient ways to deliver services to the residents of San Jacinto.

Leadership Skills and Experience:

Bus Operator Metropolitan Transit System Board of Directors for Pony League Little League and Pony League, Baseball Manager Little League and Pony League, Baseball Coach Little League and Pony League, Baseball Umpire Temporary Crew Leader Cal Trans Community Service Program Worked with residents to get public safety improvements for our neighborhoods
