ZAP Printing & Graphics was founded by Eugene Montanez in 1972, when he bought a small press and put it in his mother's garage to create his own part-time job while finishing high school and attend college classes.

In 1976, in order to get married, he needed a full time job, and the equipment had outgrown the garage. The first shop he rented was recently used as the Los Tacos Restaurant at the corner of Fifth & Ramona in Corona. Eugene and Paula were married in July, 1976, and the business continued to grow. By 1979, the name ZAP Printing & Graphics was official, and there were two satellite shops, one of which was located in the Southwest Plaza on Hamner Avenue.

Eugene and Paula have always been active in community affairs. From the early days in Jaycees, through many years of Chamber, Rotary, United Way and Soroptimist membership, they believe that you must give back to your community. Through their son, Robert, now 22, Eugene & Paula were both active in AYSO, Boy Scouts and school activities to support him. Eugene currently serves on the Corona City Council and is a Past President of the Corona Rotary Club. Paula is also past president of Soroptimist International of Corona. Eugene and Paula were recognized as 2001 Citizens of the Year by the Corona Chamber of Commerce for their years of community service.

Always in the forefront of computer technology, Zap is able to take your Mac or PC files, on disk or over the internet, and turn them into top quality printed pieces. Zap also has a full-service graphics department to create logos and design layouts in-house. From business cards, stationery and forms to sophisticated full-color marketing pieces, Eugene and Paula, along with their customer-friendly staff of printing experts are filling a need in the business community.
