Visionary Asset Management to provide on-going revenue

Experience and continuity are critical in seeing ideas materialize. Maximize earnings so it doesn't take another twenty years.
While I have served as a Trustee, asset management has come to the forefront before. In 2006 Cypress School District was moving forward with ideas to create ongoing revenue streams much like the Senior Housing Development we already have. With the sudden death of Superintendent, Dr. Bill Eller the priorities shifted to finding his replacement while continuing to focus on student instruction in the classroom. The last four years have been spent bringing our Superintendent, Sheri Loewenstein on board, coming up with a Master Facility Plan which included Bond Measure M and working to stay fiscally solvent while keeping the focus on classroom instruction of students.

Asset management is again in the forefront. Working with the Cypress Education Foundation the District has benefited from more than six million dollars to the general fund over the course of 20 years. It is time to see the visionary ideas materialize, maximizing the earning potential of our properties. Working with city officials and with the help of a consultant hired in August the five individuals who make up the Board of Trustees together will make those decisions.

With a recently appointed Trustee and the decision of an Incumbent not to seek re-election, continuity of the Board is critical. I've been given the opportunity to learn from and be molded by long term Trustees. I have eight years experience in guiding the Cypress School District through very difficult and challenging times. I will be honored to continue to serve the students of such an exemplary school district as we continue on our journey into the future.
