- On Saturday October 23rd a forum will begin at 10:00 am and will be held in the Karas Room in the library at the Monterey Peninsula College. The location is at 980 Fremont Street in Monterey. Questions, call Janet Brennan from the League of Women Voters of the Monterey Peninsula at 831-648-VOTE(8683). The forum is moderated by Ms. Maxner.
- On Sunday, October 3, 2010 there will be a candidate's forum. The forum is from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Aromas Grange at the corner of Rose and Bardue Streets in Oldtown Aromas. Also, the statewide propositions will be presented. The event is sponsored by the Aromas Community Grange with the League of Women Voters of the Salinas Valley, moderating. As there are other candidate races, you may wish to call Patty Brown at 726-1503 to find out the order.
