To preserve funding for general city services, including maintaining firefighters
and police officers for adequate emergency response, reducing crime, maintaining
city streets and parks, and senior and youth programs, shall the City of Marina
temporarily increase the transient occupancy tax (hotel tax) rate from ten percent
to twelve percent with the increase to expire in five years and tax to revert to ten
percent with all money staying locally to preserve Marina city services?
