• Mrs. Valerie Florentino Davis is a Kabayian Elongos. Her father's family is from Pasuquin Illucos Norte, which is an area north of Manila. She is a Life-time Member of the Filipino-American Women's Club of Fresno and Vicinity.
• Married for 26 years to Major Michael F. Davis Teacher/Coach at Roosevelt High School, and has three daughters. Michelle is married and a teacher at Cambridge High School. Katherine is a Leon Peters honor student at Fresno City College and water polo athlete. Elizabeth is a fifth grader, at Ayer Elementary School.
