Brentwood City Council candidate Jim Cushing has an innovative idea: Why don't we pool the talents of the City of Brentwood planning experts and the Chamber of Commerce to design a program to give Brentwood small business owners the resources they need to market and grow their local businesses locally and online. Let's make a Brentwood Business License have Value.

• Local Brentwood residents need to be connected with Brentwood small business that offer products and services + so that we can "buy local" and keep our revenue here in our city.

• Brentwood should create an informational website "WeAreBrentwood.com" that can become a resource that residents go to when they are looking for goods and services.

• The City of Brentwood can "step up" and become the first one stop resource for Brentwood small business owners to market their products and services online+ and offering, business plan development, website templates and resources to help our small businesses and entrepreneurs to succeed and expand their local businesses.
