REGISTER to VOTE
MAIL REGISTRATION
Application must be postmarked not later than August 20 and received by the Westchester County Board of Elections not later than August 25 to be eligible to vote in the Primary Election on September 14.
IN PERSON REGISTRATION
You may register at the Westchester Board of Elections or any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration Act, on any business day throughout the year but, to be eligible to vote in the Fall primary on September 14, your application must be received no later than August 20.

Please note that if you were eligible to vote in New York State in last year's General Election (2009), this year you are eligible to vote ONLY in the Primary contests of the party in which you were enrolled as of the 2009 General Election.

Please also note that in this year's Primaries, there is an unusually large number of contests for Party Delegates. (See the "Party Committee" link above and/or check your smartvoter ballot, remembering that if you were eligible to vote in New York State in last year's November General Election, you are only eligible to vote in the Party Primary as noted in the paragraph above.)
