OCCUPATION: RETIRED FINANCE DIRECTOR

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS + B.A. in Accounting from CSUF, Certified Management Accountant (CMA), California Real Estate Broker and a lifetime of financial successes. I've reported to Corporate Boards and Senior Management and know how to go nose-to-nose with people in powerful positions and make my point.

If elected, I plan on being the first Congressman to sign a "Contract for Congress". The contract will spell out accountability, representation, transparency and related consequences. A promise made will be a promise kept. There will be Accountability.

An independent Citizen's Oversight Committee (COC), consisting of people from all political parties, will be formed to help take forth the voice of the people. There will be Representation.

A communication network will be established using the Internet, newspapers, television and radio to seek your input into your government. I will take the voice of the people of our district to Washington DC. There will be Transparency.

I will bring to Congress what it so desperately needs, common sense and financial expertise. I will not only fight to resolve our current financial crisis, but I will also work hard to head off the next one. Coming from Corporate America, I have the energy and endurance to fight for reform that will take us back to our conservative roots.
