San Luis Obispo County, CA | June 8, 2010 Election |
EconomyBy Marshall OchylskiCandidate for County Supervisor; County of San Luis Obispo; District 2 | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
We must address the economic well-being of our families. The Board of Supervisors must do everything possible to assure that economics, environment, and social sustainability are all addressed in every decision they make. We cannot adopt unnecessary rules and regulations that unfairly burden our business community, particularly small business owned by our heads-of-households. The Board should review the review and elimination of all unnecessary rules, regulations, or fees that affect the economic climate of our County. We need to encourage "green industry," particularly those that can take advantage of the human and environmental resources that exist in our County. The students and staff at Cal Poly are just one example of current resources that are underutilized. |
