I am running for election to the San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee (SFDCCC) in order to ensure that we have a strong, vibrant, dynamic and inclusive local Democratic Party. In addition to endorsing candidates and propositions in all elections, the SF Democratic Party engages in voter education, registration and turnout. As a lifelong Democrat, I am committed to the principles of the Democratic Party: support for human and civil rights; for educational opportunities for all; support for working families; fighting for those who have been/are discriminated against; protecting our environment; affordable, accessible healthcare ; and economic opportunity for all. San Francisco often makes the difference in Statewide elections and by keeping our local party strong, we can lead the fight for these issues. I am also a member of the State Democratic Party and serve on the Resolutions Committee.
