Supervisor; County of San Diego; Supervisorial District 5

I would consider myself a moderate, I have the ability to work with individuals from all ideologies. I am conservative when it comes to fiscal matters so that government runs effienently. At the same time, I consider myself moderate because we must not forget that in these troubled economic times there are many peolpe in need of assistance. That is one reason that the postion of County Supervisor appeals to me. Beyond helping others, the position allows me to help in protecting the residents of the county with the Sherriffs Department. With the release of many individuals from prison in the near future, it is important to stay proactive. Finally, North San Diego County is the most beautiful place in the world top live. It will be my reponsiblity to see that it remains that way by preventing the spread of additional urban sprawl.
