GREEN PARTY COUNTY COUNCIL NEEDS A BOOST!

By Michael McCue

Candidate for Member, Green Party County Council; County of Los Angeles; Senate District 23

This information is provided by the candidate
Our County Council desperately needs new blood and a new attitude that fully supports our 10 Key Values!
The Green Party Los Angeles County Council does not emphasize the basics of organization and rules that any political party would.

Unfortunately, our County Council does not hold regular meetings.

I was shocked to learn that the GPLACC has only held one meeting so far this year--an election year!

That's unacceptable.

I will change that.

I am aligned with several Greens from all over LA County who are determined to make the GPLACC work as it should.

We need a breath of fresh air, a big dose of reform, and a true commitment to the 10 Key Values.

No more endorsements for candidates that are violating our Key Values!

We need new leadership for LA County Greens and I intend to work with the other newly-elected Board members to achieve the goal of minimum 3% Green Party registration in LA County by 2012.

We need to utilize the Neighborhood Council system to develop our Green Party candidates and give them the experience they need to soar. We need to create specific goals towards these ends and monitor our progress throughout the next two-year term.

We need to connect to our party's voters and get them involved in every way we can.

Let's Grow the Greens in LA County!

Support new life and new growth and vote for Michael McCue for Green Party County Council!

Thank you for your support!
