Political Philosophy for Lorraine M. Johnson
Candidate for |
I am pursuing the opportunity to become Mayor of Inglewood because I feel that I will be an asset to the city and not a liability. The greatest achievement in life is to serve others, and I feel that I would improve the quality of life for the citizens of Inglewood. I posses the skills to achieve a prosperous and fiscally sound city and that makes me the most qualified candidate to do the job. My experience in investment banking, corporate real estate, manufacturing and business management gives me the skill set to properly analyze, and make informed decisions, about any situation that addresses the city. As the former Councilperson representing District Four, my leadership and sound decision making abilities are reflected in the development along Century Boulevard ("Village at Century Shopping Center" which includes Red Lobster, Bed Bath and Beyond, Chili's, etc.), the gated community which includes 376 single family upscale homes on Pincay (the "Renaissance"), and additional projects throughout the city. My compassion for this city and its residents ensure that I will be the best Mayor, with a focus on a better quality of life for all including our senior citizens who have given so much, our Veterans who have served this country so faithfully and our youth who we owe a better life. |
