I want to be your City Treasurer because I have been improving my qualifications and building accomplishments for such a job as this. The retirement of the current city treasurer and my having moved into Torrance in 2004 bring together preparedness and opportunity.

I have extensive accounting experience, investment knowledge, and treasury certifications. As CFO of Beach Cities Health District I have government leadership experience. As the top finance and treasury officer, I am responsible for budgeting and financial reporting and I manage a multi-million-dollar government portfolio that, like the city's, is subject to the same complex government regulations.

I have a record of hard work, can-do leadership, and a track record of high standards and accomplishments to prove it. I brought first-time awards and accomplishments to the health district such as budget awards, annual financial reporting awards, investment policy certifications. As treasurer, I can bring the same level of performance to Torrance that I brought to the Beach Cities Health District.
