My wife Penny and I have three beautiful daughters. Our oldest is in college; our youngest starts high school this year. Spending time with my family is a value I hold high. I work hard to protect all our families from violent criminals.

Contributing back to my community is important to me. I serve on the Concord City Council; I am advisor for the Northgate High School Mock Trial Team; on the Board of Directors of the 100 Club, an organization that supports families of fallen police officers; and I am an active youth soccer volunteer.

I have served as a Deputy District Attorney in the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office for 25 years + prosecuting thousands of criminals, sexual predators, murderers, and violent gang members. I work hard to bring criminals to justice,and am proud of my record of achievement in the D.A.'s Office.
