Board Member; Cincinnati City School District

I grew up in Finneytown where I attended the public schools. I earned a BA in English from Xavier University in 1997 with a minor in secondary education. Since that time, I have been a high school teacher - working in parochial, charter, and public schools. This versatile set of experiences gives me a unique perspective on the operation of schools, a true asset in this race for School Board.

I continued my formal education through Middlebury College where I attended the Bread Loaf School of English. I studied in Vermont, Alaska, New Mexico, and I finished my senior semester taking a double course load at Oxford University, England.

I have been a political blogger and media activist for several years, experiences that have given me insights on the local political structure. I live in Mt. Airy with my wife of ten years and our two children.
