Candidate for
Council Member; Town of Ossining

I am seeking re-election to continue my work on Shared Services in order to make government more streamlined and efficient, eliminating duplication and unnecessary layers of bureaucracy.

I want to expand upon my community involvement, using my background in education and the law. I am enthusiastic about listening about people's concerns, and it is personally gratifying to solve problems and bring them to a productive conclusion.

Energy efficiency is a win-win situation. We can reduce costs while lowering our carbon footprint. I want to introduce added energy efficiency initiatives such as L.E.D. streetlamps, which have the added advantage of lasting longer while reducing the labor costs for replacement. We have recently joined an Energy Action Coalition with 12 other Towns and Villages in Northern Westchester. This will help us to obtain grant money while reducing our energy demands.
