I have a great pride in this community and being born here, I have deep roots in Redwood City. I will work with you to improve the quality of life for everyone. I humbly ask for your vote on Nov. 3rd.

As a CPA, I used my financial skills to establish our City's reserve policy. As an accountant, I am naturally mindful of the importance of a healthy budget reserve -- a philosophy during the boom years that helped the city's emergency services departments avoid drastic cuts during the lean years. Once again, we are facing a budget crisis. We will rely on our reserve to help soften the cuts in city services.

Dedicated To:

  • Using my 32 years of experience auditing government entities to protect our tax dollars.
  • Keeping our City safe by maintaining police officers & fire service levels and continuing our youth programs.
  • Supporting our schools and maintaining our partnerships with them.
  • Involving citizens in decisions and building a strong community.

A CPA for City Council

A strong community is based on strong families. My roots in Redwood City go back to my grandparents who moved here in 1937. They raised their family here and now I am raising my family here. My parents instilled in me strong family values, a strong work ethic, honesty, and a commitment to my family and community. These strong family ties enable me to understand the issues facing our seniors, young families, and children.

Communities with highly involved residents are rewarded with good schools, parks, libraries, senior programs, and low crime. My goal as Council Member for Redwood City is to inspire this involvement through our PACT program, Community Builders, concerts, art shows, outdoor movies, dance events, farmers' market, neighborhood forums, fire prevention programs, earthquake and disaster preparedness, partnerships with the county, schools, and other organizations. When this is accomplished, Redwood City will be a better city.
