- Improve Broadmoor constituent relations by serving as liaison to the San Mateo Board of Supervisors.
- Implement a language access program in the Police Commission for our growing minority population of Filipinos/ Asians. Translations in Chinese and Tagalog should be readily available.
- Maintain budget with state, local, and outside resource without increasing parcel taxes.
- Create a program for the youth with police participation. I will encourage kids to sign up for public service and community improvements projects. In turn, they will receive high school/ elementary service hour credit. They will also receive certificates that will recognize their volunteerism and contribution.
- Create other ways to promote the Broadmoor Police Department other than using traditional media outlets.
- Form a subcommittee with the residents to address issues with the police department to make sure the department and residents are on the same page. This subcommittee will be made up of residents (Precinct Leaders/ Monitors) who have the responsibility to give an on-the-ground grassroots assessment of what needs should be addressed around our neighborhoods.
- Form a Citizens Academy Day for residents so they could better understand the role and training that officers get. It will be publicized extensively to yield and maximize optimum results.
