Candidate for
Town Council; Proposed Town of Carmel Valley

I am originally from Massachusetts, and have been stationed in Boston; Alameda, California; Cleveland, Ohio; the Philadelphia area, and New York. In 1967, I was stationed in Monterey as Commanding Officer of the Coast Guard Cutter "Lamar", at which time we purchased a home in the area. When I retired in 1984, we returned here, and have lived in Carmel Views since 1986.

My wife, Joan, and I have been married since 1967. We have no children.

I have been a Docent at the Maritime Museum for over 20 years, and am a member of the Ft. Ord Retiree Council, Miliary Officers Association, and the Navy League.

We are active members of the Carmel Mission and I serve as a volunteer at the Church. I am a member of the Knights of Columbus.

I enjoy golf, and play whenever I have the opportunity.
