Events

The Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce will present to the community a non partisan forum on Measure K. This is a free forum, open to the public. It will be held Wednesday, September 30th, 2009 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Salinas Union High School Theater. The address is 531 South Main Street in Salinas. The forum will be moderated by Kristina Chavez Wyatt. A representative from A Penny for Peace will speak in favor and Mr. Brett Landon will speak about previous tax measures, their effectiveness and their historical track record.
