As our school board member for eight years, CINDY RUIZ has been an effective advocate for Quality Education, Safe Schools, and Accountability to Parents, Teachers and the Community
Under her Leadership:
- Responsible and balanced budget every year even during State's Financial crisis
- All schools exceed the state API scores of 800 with 9 schools exceeding 900
- Diamond Bar High School, has the highest performing Calculus program in the nation
- Walnut High School, recognized as a top International Baccalaureate Program
- Walnut and Diamond Bar HS recognized as countries top schools in Newsweek Magazine
- California Distinguished Schools
- National Blue Ribbon Schools
- Primary Years International Baccalaureate elementary school program, CJ Morris and Castle Rock Elementary
- Implemented Walnut/Diamond Bar Sheriff's Station partnership for school safety
- Implemented 21st Century Technology Master Plan
