Candidate for
Council Member; City of Duarte

I love Duarte. It is where my husband and I bought our wonderful home with a view of the San Gabriel Mountains and where my children grew up.

I have been a resident of Duarte for 22 years. As a widow I raised two successful daughters. Beth, a Northwestern University graduate with a degree in Math and Statistics, is employed by a top mutual fund company. Kate graduated from USC with a BA in Biology and is currently applying to medical schools.

I became involved in Duarte schools because I wanted my daughters to get the best possible public education. As they moved from Valley View to Northview to Duarte High, so did I. When I become involved, I engage myself totally.

I am dedicated to Duarte and want this opportunity to use my skills, talents, and experience to safeguard the interest of the residents of Duarte. I want to preserve all the good things in Duarte and make Duarte a better community by bringing fresh ideas to improve the quality of life for everyone.
