  • Advocating for the implementation of short term and long term fiscal goals to ensure our school district is never in fiscal crisis again.
  • Establish a budget audit and oversight committee comprised of all stakeholders to ensure the districts finance are transparent and open to the public.
  • Reevaluate and revamp the current methods of communication with our community as well as create new methods of communication.

Jorge S. Hernández, A Proud South Whittier Product!
Jorge is a proud product of the South Whittier School District. He was a bilingual student at Los Altos and Monte Vista Elementary before going on to South Whittier Intermediate School (now Richard Graves Middle School). He graduated from California High School and completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in Economics.
