We can create a sustainable city that nurtures our neighborhoods and improves our quality of life.

I want to bring my talent, experience and energy to serve the people of District 7 as your next City Council Member. Together, we can:

PROTECT AND IMPROVE OUR NEIGHBORHOODS

Let's keep the existing character of our neighborhoods intact when considering new development

Let's control traffic to lessen the impact on our neighborhood streets

Let's use the General Plan update process to develop appropriate guidelines for our neighborhoods

Let's preserve trees on both city-owned and private property and increase maintenance of street trees

CREATE A SUSTAINABLE CITY THAT ASSURES CAREFUL STEWARDSHIP OF OUR RESOURCES

Let's get more incentives in place to increase the use of solar energy and other renewable energy sources throughout Pasadena

Let's create a master plan for water use that helps us conserve this resource that's becoming scarcer

Let's make strategic investments in green technology

CREATE PARTNERSHIPS THAT IMPROVE SCHOOLS FOR OUR CHILDREN

Let's bring together the resources of the city, school district, businesses, and community

Let's have City Hall supply needed coordination for these partnerships to maximize community resources

Let's coordinate our public libraries with school libraries so that librarians can serve our children and our community

ENSURE THAT SOUTH LAKE AVENUE REMAINS OUR VIBRANT "MAIN STREET"

Let's develop strategies to retain businesses and fill vacancies with stores we need

Let's encourage pedestrian-friendly enhancements to make South Lake more attractive and inviting to neighbors

Let's support the marketing efforts of the South Lake Business Association/Business Improvement District

MAKE CITY HALL MORE ACCESSIBLE TO INVOLVE MORE PEOPLE

Let's make greater use of new technology to bring more people into the decision-making process

Let's use the City website and other social media technology to provide more information and to solicit the ideas, concerns, and energy of all residents
