Angie Singler...has lived in the 25th Ward of the City of St Louis for over 25 years. Ward 25 has provided her family with the comforts of her home, offered her children the education of a lifetime, and afforded her the opportunity to be an integral part of the community. A city resident her entire life, Angie Singler (Boeger) was raised with nine brothers and sisters in the St. Francis DeSales parish community in South City. She continued her Catholic education in the City at both St. Mary Magdalen and Bishop DuBourg High School. Angie met her husband, Norm Singler, in St. Louis and chose to raise their family in South St. Louis. Norm Singler is also a life-long resident of South City, St. Louis and attended St. Anthony's Grade School and graduated from Cleveland High School. Norm has been a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 399 for 25 years. Angie and Norm's three children, Daniel (26), Timothy (23) and Elizabeth (20) were raised right here in the 25th ward, and all attended the Resurrection of Our Lord Elementary School. Dan and Tim attended St. Mary's High School and have both graduated from college, and Liz attended Notre Dame High School and is currently in college. It was at Resurrection Elementary School where Angie strengthened her passion for the community and further developed her leadership skills when she served on both the Resurrection School Board and the Woman's Club Board . Angie even volunteered as a "room mother" in the classroom, assisting in the education of the children of our community. Angie's ties to Dutchtown and Mt. Pleasant are strong and lasting, and she is excited about bringing positive changes to the 25th Ward and truly "reconnecting our community!" Resume: Prepared and ready to lead, Angie Singler has been an active member of the community for over 25 years. Below lists some of her more prominent leadership positions:

  • School Board Member at Resurrection School (1993-1995)
  • Elected to the School Board to assist in oversight and policies
  • Neighborhood Association Member (Present)
  • Assisted in coordinating Amberg Park Clean Ups
  • Coordinator for the Social Action Group
  • Vice President of the Woman's Club Board (2003-2004)
  • Assisted in raising funds for Resurrection School
  • Chairperson for the Resurrection School Annual Fund Raiser (1992- 2002)
  • Grossed approximately $60,000 (netted approximately $30,000) for the school annually.
  • Successfully lead a team of neighborhood parents in fundraising, organized rallies, collected money and paid invoices.
  • Coordinator - Resurrection of Our Lord Annual Parish Parade (1993 - 2005)
  • Managed parade permits and street closings with St. Louis City Police, worked with local dignitaries, companies and organization, coordinated communications, and managed donations for the annual event.
  • Neighborhood Block Captain (1992 - 2006)
  • Organize neighborhood nights out and crime watches
  • Chairperson of the Resurrection Parish Auction (2003-2005)
  • Raised over $75,000 for the Resurrection Parish and School by soliciting and collecting all donations, working with major donor, and leading a team of exceptional volunteers.
  • Co-Chair for "Mission Carnival" (1989-2000)
  • Helped organize and manage annual school social event with other co-chair's.
  • Volunteer for St. Mary's High School Auctions (1997-1999)
  • Aided in the annual auction benefiting St. Mary's High School
  • Committee Chair of the Notre Dame High School Fall Festival (2004-2006)
  • Coordinated volunteers for the event and managed both set-up
