COREY CALAYCAY
Age: 38

Thank you for the privilege of serving as your Council Member. I am honored to represent the community in which I have resided for 35 years.

I always remember that I work for you. This is a challenge because Claremont residents possess very diverse political and philosophical thought and high expectations of their elected officials and City Government.

While I cannot please everyone, I recognize that a common desire of our electorate is to have honest, hardworking officials, who assure a fair and consistent process and who openly share information with them.

Since my election in March 2005, I have worked hard to maintain your trust and confidence by adhering to my promises of honesty, integrity, transparency in government, fiscal responsibility, and citizen driven policy.

I appreciate the opportunity to have participated in decisions that have produced positive results including:

Doubletree Hotel and Old School House Improvements
Village Expansion Completion
Johnson’s Pasture Acquisition
Claremont’s Sustainability Plan
Baseline Road and San Jose Avenue Improvements

In this election you are evaluating my job performance. I believe I have earned your continued trust and support, and I humbly ask for your vote on March 3.
