Diane Cagle is a 20 year resident of Redondo Beach and has been married to Councilman Chris Cagle for 18 years. She is a Speech and Language Pathologist by profession and is employed by the Torrance Unified School District where she works with elementary school aged children. Diane has been a Speech Pathologist for over 20 years and previously worked for the Hawthorne School District for 14 years.

She received her Associates Degree in General Education from College of the Redwoods and received her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Recreation from Humboldt State University in California.

Diane is very active with the Redondo Beach Art Group. She has served as a board member for over 3 years and was instrumental in organizing three major "Power of Art" shows with between three and five thousand people attending each one. She is also active with the "Friends of the Redondo Beach Art Group" and the Redondo Beach Sister Cities Association. Diane's involvement with the Sister Cities organization included community service for our Sister City in Ensenada. She spent time helping to paint a school and remove graffiti there and also delivered toys and donations to an orphanage in Ensenada. Diane was also a part of the official delegation to China that led to the City's first new sister city in over 40 years located in Zhangjiagang, China.

Diane has been a member of the American Speech and Language Hearing Association for more than 20 years. She enjoys exercising at the gym, reading, and serving the Redondo Beach community.
