Political Philosophy for Kathy Dahlkemper
Candidate for |
I entered this race for my children and the generations to follow. It is my intent to do all I can to improve the job market in our district so that if our children choose to live here and raise their families here they can do so with confidence. I believe it is time to advance an organized disenegagment from Iraq. My nephew just completed his fourth tour of duty, I know first hand the toll this war in taking on our troops. We must address the energy crisis immediately by taking both short and long-term steps to reducing our dependence on foreign oil and as a way to improve our economy. I believe my background in health care as well as my experiences as a small business owner who provides health care to its employees will help me deal with this issue effectively. We need to take a pro-active approach to dealing with issues and must stop making short term decisions that only lead to bigger problems later. |
