I am constitutionally qualified to serve in the US House of Representatives, and I believe that my policy positions represent the best path forward for America.
Answer from William C. "Bill" Haas:
Yale, Harvard Law School, 40 years civic and political experience, 8 years on the School Board; good mind, good heart, and open to finding common ground among Democrats, Republicans and Independents. Committed to changing priorities, programs, interests and values of the country domestically and internationally, from the last 8 years.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit)

Answer from William C. "Bill" Haas:
Thousands of residents are evicted illegally every year from nursing homes/assisted living facilities. I will do something about this. The law needs more teeth, and we need job training and education funds for workers, as well as more financial assistance for the care of our loved ones.
Answer from Thomas L. "Tom" Knapp:
Vote no on further funding for the Iraq war and sponsor legislation to end it; sponsor the appropriate legislation to cut taxes and restore civil liberties.
