What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit) Answer from Joan Barry: I have been involved in politics for four decades and served four terms in the Missouri Legislature. As a registered nurse I learned the importance of quality health care and parlayed that experience into becoming the chair of Children, Families, Health Committee, passing meaningful legislation from that position. 2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit) Answer from Joan Barry: Utilizing my good realtionships with current members of the Missouri Senate I plan to start a dialog addressing my priorities and crafting good policy for the state of Missouri.
