About Representative Jeffrey Davis Perry Personal Representative Perry was born in 1964, in Attleboro , Massachusetts . Jeff is happily married to his wife Lisa and has one son, Christopher, and two granddaughters, Paige (who will forever live in our hearts) and Faith. The Perry's live in Lakewood Hills in East Sandwich .

Employment History January 2003 - current. State Representative

Currently serving his third term as the State Representative for the 5th Barnstable District, and as the Ranking Member of the Committees on Education and Public Safety & Homeland Security. He also serves as a member on the House Ways and Means Committee and the Committee on Ethics. In addition, Jeff serves as the Governor's Appointee to the Juvenile Advisory Committee and holds a Legislative Appointment to the Correction Advisory Committee.

December 2007 + current. Attorney at Law

Along with Attorney Kevin Flannigan, Jeff formed the Law Firm of Flannigan and Perry P.C. The firm has offices in Hanover and Hyannis and offers a wide variety of legal services and counsel, including the areas of Business Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, Domestic Relations/Family Law, Estate Planning, Juvenile Law, Personal Injury, Real Estate, and Workers' Compensation.

September 2007 + current Adjunct Professor

Beginning with the fall semester of 2007, Jeff has served as an Adjunct Professor at Cape Cod Community College in West Barnstable teaching a course in Criminal Evidence and American Government.

July 1993 to 2002. Small Business Owner

During this time Jeff owned several businesses including Sandwich Variety, Inc., a convenience and package store located in Sandwich . He has also owned and operated a private investigation firm in Bourne and a wholesale supply company in Orlando, Florida.

January 1986 to July 1993. Police Officer & Sergeant

A Wareham Police Officer and Sergeant, Jeff also served as a member of Emergency Response Team and Honor Guard and was recognized with many citations including Officer of the Year award from the Mothers Against Drunk Driving "MADD".

Education New England School of Law + graduated with a Juris Doctorate Degree in the spring of 2007. At graduation, Jeff was presented the Dean Timothy J. Cronin, Jr., Award , which recognizes the student who has shown the greatest promise of outstanding contributions to public service. Jeff was named to the Dean's List six semesters. Jeff focused his electives on the study of Constitutional Law. In addition, he received CALI Awards in the subjects of Evidence, Legislation, Workers' Compensation, Juvenile Law and Ethics.

Curry College - Obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. Graduating as a member of the Alexander Graham Bell Honor Society, his grade point average at Curry College was 3.95.

Bristol Community College - Received an Associate Degree from Bristol Community College in Liberal Studies. Graduated from B.C.C. with high honors and as a member of the Kappa Alpha Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Lambda.

Babson College - Successfully completed an executive management program sponsored by Babson College 's School of Law Enforcement Executive Education which exposed him to a variety of police and security management instruction. Jeff graduated from this program with honors.

Plymouth Police Academy + Graduating from the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Council's Police Recruit Academy in 1986, he finished 2 nd in his graduating class. The program was a comprehensive 800 hour, 16-week training program that qualifies recruits as municipal police officers.

Military Massachusetts National Guard - Served as an Administrative Specialist assigned to the Facility Engineers section of the Camp Edwards Headquarters Training Center during which time he successfully completed basic and advanced training and received numerous awards and commendations. Jeff ended his enlisted period in December of 2001.
